So, I guess it’s been a while.  Too long, perhaps.  Yet here we are again, dear friends.

For those of you that know me well, then you probably know how trying the past 12 months have been not only for me but my entire family.  For those of you that don’t know me as well, then what you’re seeing here now is quite the departure from what once was the main focus of this site. (Don’t worry, though.  While the previous Patchchord project is officially no more, the archives still remain.)  And for those of you that don’t know me at all, welcome to my neck of the digital woods.

As the title of this new incarnation of the site intimates (version 4.0 if my memory serves me right), I’d like to consider this a clean start, one that reflects the clean start that I’m making in many other areas of my life right now.  More on that later, though.

For now know that myself, the missus, the kids and the cats are all alive and well.  And with every day that passes, we’re pushing to be even better than that.
