CD Cover Meme

So I was cruising around the old boomarks list and noticed this cool meme over at Crawlspace, which was a response to one of Jharr’s buddies.  Given the musical slant of the meme, I thought I’d give it a go.  For those of you too lazy to make with the clickety-click above, here’s how it rolls.

  • quotationspage.com/random.php3: The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
  • en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random: The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
  • flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days: The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
  • Which got me this, this and this.

Needless to say, I thought I had pretty much randomly struck gold for my contribution to this meme and was pretty pleased with the result of my effort.

I was consciously going for a little early 90s feel, busting out Eurostile for the artist’s name and a somewhat un-obnoxious script font (Handwriting – Dakota) for the album title.  All in all, 15 minutes worth of brainless fun.

Then, after walking away from my computer, a realization of horror overcame me.  A quick Google search later and my fears were confirmed: yep, I’m a hack.

    1. Could have been worse, could have been ‘no jacket required’…
