As I Twittered earlier, I got the family economic stimulus check direct deposited into the ol’ sock under the mattress today. And before you think that I’ll go thanking Bubba Bush anytime soon, remember this:

It’s your own freaking money.

Anyway, I do have to laugh at the fact that like the game “Life,” you can get dollars for your kids if you land on the right squares. And in case you’re curious, here’s a little detail on how I thought about spending it and how the missus and I plan on really spending the money.
