My lovely wife will be the art teacher at one of the new schools recently acquired by the Independence School District from the struggling KCMO district. Yesterday was her first full work day in her new digs at North Rock Creek Elementary and a photographer from the Kansas City Star snapped a few photos of her and her colleagues as they begin their efforts of getting the school ready in time for thei first day of school on August 18th. Needless to say, they have their work cut out for them!

Congrats to Sarah. Miss you man. So, I have a student who is into music, and he’s apparently a pretty talented musician and a bright guy. He’s wanting to send you a draft of a paper he’s writing for his senior thesis for some critique. Whaddya think?
