This past Saturday I was able to make the rounds at the 2008 Crossroads Music Festival and shoot some video. My stops included catching performances by the Barclay Martin Ensemble, the Gaslights, It’s Over, bellydancing by a trio of performers from Massive Tassel, the Voler aerial fabrics crew and an incredible performance by the Quixotic Performance Ensemble.
There are 12 videos in all here, so don’t be afraid to poke around and enjoy this mini-tour of some of the best Kansas City has to offer in terms of music, dance, art and just a grand adventure in this creatively underappreciated metropolis.
