Barney’s White House Christmas
I don’t even know where to start on this. I could go the whole “our tax dollars at work” route. Maybe take a detour down the “Jesus, even attempts at sincerity have to be scripted?” side street. Perhaps even hang a left at “lame duck walking.” But ultimately, I find myself in the exact same place every time…

The tradition seems to be to do a “farewell” video. Remember this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-ICyTG4qYQ). Democrats have better writers and Barney was probably the only reasonably well liked member of the Bush family. Featuring the decoration of the “people’s house” also seems reasonable and most of the cost is absorbed by suppliers… much like Hallmark picked up his Christmas Cards.
