One of the many, many cool things about where I work is the fact that we have a suite at the Sprint Center. When any event rolls through, everyone in the agency has a chance to enter into a drawing for whatever tix are left over after however many that are needed for client entertainment purposes have been set aside. Well, I just found out today that I was one of the lucky winners for the AC/DC show next Wednesday night! 

The only catch is that we do have to pay for the tix, but trust me when I say that it’s at a greatly reduced rate. I looked up the ticket cost on Ticketbastard and they’re going for $92.50 a pop plus manhandling fee. I can tell you that the cost out my pocket will be less than a quarter of what it would have been had I actually sprung for two tix in a conventional manner.

When I called my oldest brother to tell him the news and invite him to join me, I’m pretty sure he shit his pants.

For the rest of you, let the jealousy begin.
