Times Roman? Really?!?
I’m a little amused that they went with a serif font like Times. Granted, I don’t think Blagojevich rates the sophistication of an Arial or Helvetica.
Come to think of it, this actually may be one of those rare moments that justifies the use of Comic Sans.

Ha. funny. But read this, and I think you’ll agree that maybe he actually is the Arial of people:

LOL! Sometimes there’s nothing funnier than a grudge match between designers.
That’s a simplistic argument about a very deep subject… at the time that Microsoft was populating Windows with fonts, Adobe had already licensed Helvetica from Linotype (Haas) along with Times Roman, Palatino, Century, Zapf Chancery, Bookman, Symbol and Avant Garde. All of the characters were legally redrawn using identical character widths and only the names were copyrighted…but, importantly… Why the hell did they “justify” the lines and indent the first word? Bad typography is more than just bad fonts!
Hah! By the way, I got my hands on the documentary Helvetica. We ought to watch that one together!
I caught it… Saw at least a few familiar faces from my past including Mike Parker, Linotype’s VP of Typographic Development in the ’70s and ’80s. The film missed some hisotrical points.
