While I spend my days dabbling in 1s and 0s and selling my way through a career in advertising, I have two brothers that work to help those around them.

One is a banker with Commerce Bank and is probably one of the hardest working and most loyal people you could ever met. Say what you will about bankers, my oldest brother breaks the mold. His customers are more than just that, they’re friends…and he treats his friends like they’re family.

And the other has been a KCMO police officer for 15 years. In so many ways, it is a thankless job and given the recent tough press the KCMO police department has been getting, it’s easy to forget that there are so many brave men and women busting their asses and laying their lives on the line day in and day out for the greater good.

Tonight, Officer Kreicbergs was featured on our local news talking about his job. And I couldn’t have been prouder.
