Kansas City’s Westport Gets Flooded

It’s been a deluge of rain today and I was just through this interesection (Westport Road and Mill Street) over lunch when it just started pouring. I guess things got much worse pretty quickly after that.

First time Westport has seen this much action since the P&L District opened. God only knows what has started floating up in Flush Brush Creek already…

Damn. I almost couldn’t get to my daughter’s school today because something close to that. Nowhere quite that bad, though.

@Chris: Women and baby-back ribs first! (Barbecue sauce.)

@Kyle: They must have been totally desperate for a poorly branded sit-down casual dining experience. Nothing says “pepper in the fun” like crawling out on your roof and calling for a tow truck.

@Bata: Next time, be sure to send her to school with water wings.
