The Day’s Delicious
Assorted nonsense and marginally relevant shenanigans via my personal delicious.com bookmarks.
- 72 Musicians: My first link today is a shout out to the Kansas City music scene and Bob Moczydlowsky’s fantastic documentary “72 Musicians.” Check out the trailer. Hell, download the free soundtrack. Or buy the DVD like I did. Support local music, people.
- Wired.com Buyer’s Guide: Choose the Right iPad: In my mind, the right iPad to buy is the next one. Regardless, Wired.com has a thoughtful accounting of what to consider when pondering your purchase of Jobs’ magic tablet from on high.
- SXSW 2010: I’m done stewing. Here’s the poop. | the MARTINI SHAKER: As a fellow Kansas Citian, tech-geek and über-nerd, I hold a great deal of respect for my friend Jeremy Fuksa. It only stands to reason that he has one of the most cogent and insightful reviews of SXSWi based on his recent (and first) foray to the Austin techfest. Watch the vid, it’s well worth it.
- Free Printable Sketching, Wireframing and Note-Taking PDF Templates: Here’s a great little set of printable, sketch-ready PDF templates, ready for random web doodling and daydreaming. Not a bad way to do some preliminary explorations for web-based browsers, the iPhone, the iPad and an Android device.
- Who Will Buy the iPad? [STATS]: The alternate headline to this post? “NPD releases official demographic profile of hipster douchebag.” Sure, I’ll admit it…I want one. But I have no interest in being a part of Apple’s first generation guinea pig group of users. I appreciate the promise of what the iPad portends but I just can’t believe this initial device will be everything I (and the rest of the Apple faithful) want it to be. Now it’ll be a different story when the second gen rolls off the line…
Aww. I love you too, Kreicky.
