Hey Marty, I have a 2010 Honda Fit Sport. I had a 2009 Toyota Camry as well. I love the Camry, but now that I have my Fit I love it as well, however for different reasons. Great on Gas, and it has very usable Utility Value. Can't go Wrong with the Fit. And don't forget the Magic Seats in the back. No other competitor out there can even get close.

Thanks! I'm considering this one from costco: http://www.costco.com/Browse/ProductSet.aspx?Prodid=11531456&cm_mmc=BCEmail_HomeMailer2011-_-Banner-_-69-_-MarketingItemName

Well reviewed, and on sale right now. The hitch appeals to me because it's versatile. I'm hoping to figure out an easy kayaking solution, too (I'm a 5'3" woman; yes, even the Fit is too tall for me to put stuff on the roof).

Some belated follow-up. I've had the hitch for nearly a year.

I used a yakima two-bike rack and have been very happy with it. It tilts easily for hatch access. The hitch and rack extend far enough and are low enough that they do drag (well, likely it is the rack dragging) whenever I exit a barking lot with any deep gutters or much pitch. I manage that by hitting them at an angle. Still an excellent solution for my needs.

awesome--thanks. Any advice on whether a 1.25 or 2 inch hitch is better? And any advice on the bike rack?

Based on my conversations with one of the film's producers, it's not complete. In fact, the screening versions that have been shown to date include an ending that has not been finalized. (In many ways, the ending of this whole saga has yet to be written.) So please understand that this isn't a matter the filmmakers just wanting to delay the release for the sake of publicity -- they want to make sure they put out a complete and quality statement on the matter. I can assure you that they care just as passionately about this issue as anyone.

It is a little odd that they are just sitting on this film that they supposedly 'care' so much about! What is up with that? Especially with spring being here and the release of it this film could actually have helped prevent spraying. But I saw on the movie's page that they would not release it for 'film festival purposes', so I guess we can see where the real motive lies... publicity. They are probably excited about upcoming spraying because they will be able to use it as publicity for their film! If they really cared about the issue they would have done things differently and gotten the film out to the public! But hey, I guess that 'horrible' Uncle Sam isn't the only one with an ulterior motive.
